Professional care where it matters!
Pet care experience
About Me: I have been working as a Veterinary Technician for the past 4.5 years with an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Sciences. I obtained my degree in 2012 from the accredited Vet Tech Institue of Fort Wayne, IN. That same year, I passed the VTNE (Veterinary Technician National Exam) and passed the state exam, which produced my license as a veterinary technician. Experience: I have experience in general practice and emergency fields so that I can be properly prepared for any given situation with your pet(s). My main goal is to maintain a positive, stress-free environment whenever your pets are in my care. I also run my own business called Paramount Pet-Sitting. I have had experience pet-sitting for family, friends, and friends of friends since I was younger and it has always been a very positive experience for both myself and my clients. I have had experience with reptiles, fish, dogs, cats, and rodents. I have a strong belief that majority of animals are more comfortable in their own environment maintaining their normal daily routine. This is why I prefer to watch over your pets from your household. This way, they can avoid the stress of a new environment such as someone else's home or a boarding facility. I can also offer you status updates and pictures of your pets while you are away so that you can feel at ease knowing your pets are happy and comfortable in my care! Thank you for your time and I'm looking forward to hearing from you and your fur babies soon!!!
Reviews
Kimberly did a fantastic job caring for our dog and cat during our absence, as well as our home. She was very thorough and conscientious, and we would definitely book with her again.
Our forever pet sitter. Amazing work done by an amazing individual who truly loves animals!
“Kim has always been great with our pups Bella and Dottie. She has watched them and our home multiple times and we would use her again and again if she still lived in Indiana. She has provided our pets with baths, toenail trims, and she even helped teach us how to do anal glands on our pets after she had done it on Bella and Dottie multiple times beforehand. Kim’s veterinary background really makes us feel more comfortable and trusting of her ability to take care of our sweet dogs. We were grateful to have her watch our pets when she did!”

Information Kimberly C. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences. All breeds are welcome in my care! I would prefer to know: 1. What is your pet's favorite activities: swimming, fetch, tug-o-war? 2. Does your pet have any allergies (food, environmental, etc)? 3. Is your pet food or animal aggressive? 4. Is your pet up-to-date on their Rabies Vaccination? 5. Is your pet spayed or neutered? 6. Does your pet have any sort of anxiety (storms, separation, etc)? 7. Is your pet on any medications or supplements (this can include meds given as needed such as ear ointment or benadryl for allergies)? I would also prefer to meet with you and your pet(s) prior to pet-sitting to go through your pet's normal routine and to see where food and treats are kept, potential meds, sleeping arrangements, etc.
A typical day
I would prefer your pets to maintain their normal routine when it comes to walks. If your pet does not have a normal route, then I will walk your pet around your neighborhood depending on their specific needs. For example, an older pet with arthritis I will not walk as long as I would a 2 year old dog. For activities, an exercised pet is a happy pet! If it is too hot to play outdoors, we can still roll a ball around indoors. I'd prefer to know what your pet's favorite activities are, such as: fetch, tug-o-war, and I know some dogs really enjoy when their treat is hidden in their maze game. Regardless, every pet is entitled to extra TLC and belly rubs!
