It’s important to me to give the kind of care that I looked for when I had to leave my furry companion. That means customizing care that meets the needs of your pet and you. A puppy needs a lot more attention than an older cat. To me, drop-ins are more for cats who prefer a higher degree of alone time than a dog that is anxious and/or grieving their human family. I am happy to check on your pets when needed but please don't ask me to only spend an hour a day with your dog when you are away for several days. Your pets always prefer to be with you. I’ve never cared for a dog, no matter how content and happy they were with me, that didn’t jump for joy at their family’s return and walk away without a backwards glance. This goes for cats too. So, let’s make sure that when you can’t be there that they are as comfortable, content, and as happy as possible. Because they will still be sad and grieving you while you are gone. I currently work part time from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! We can customize the schedule to meet your needs. I do not book more than one client at a time. I only take one pet at a time for boarding, unless they are a family. Your pet deserves my attention not my scattered attention in a pack of dogs that they are not familiar with. After all, isn’t the goal to minimize their anxiety and grief due to being left without their family? For me, it’s not just about making sure they are feed and walked, it’s about caring for all their needs every minute you are away. This is what makes a successful staycation for your pets and allows you to come home to a joyful pet without the trauma of being left.
