As a 4 dog owner (3 of which are rescues) I understand how important pets are. My kids were sports team travelers and I hated leaving my furbabies behind unless I knew that they were 100% taken care of. I treat them like my kids and for the most part they rule my house. I have such a soft spot for animals because all they can do is trust that you are going to take care of them. Pets deserve just as much love and attention as children and I would never neglect their needs. You would never have to worry about your baby when they are with me but I would expect you to call to get updates. Your piece of mind will not be insulting to me. Just know they will be in good hands.
