Pet care experience
I am a management consultant who primarily works from home and loves caring for dogs. My husband (Jeff, Air Force pilot) and I adopted a rescue pup, Triton, in 2014 and I've since become an avid amateur dog-trainer using only positive reinforcement. Our family grew with the rescue of a second pup, Zeus, in 2015. I believe in providing love, exercise, and structure for our dog to thrive in our home and would do the same for your fur baby. Triton is a dachshund/beagle/German shepherd mix (we guess!) and is very friendly and well behaved with a submissive temperament. Zeus is a dachshund/chi mix and is quite fearless for 18lbs. He loves romping around and playing with other dogs and toys. I will be supervising all play between the dogs and ensuring my dogs don't overexcite your older dog. We live in a house with a completely fenced-in backyard and are very active, getting out for walks as much as possible. We'd prefer your young pups sleep in a crate however older dogs are welcome to sleep where they want (except for on people furniture) Why I love dog sitting Since I got my first Pound Puppy dog toy when I was a kid! My family had a Golden Retriever named Beethoven growing up and I only have fond memories playing dress up and romping around the backyard with him. I finally got a dog of my own after waiting for years due to my work/travel schedule (things finally settled down for me). I also endured 1.5 years of weekly allergy shots in order to welcome dogs into my home (apparently I developed the allergy in my 20's)! If that aint' love, I don't know what is :) My experience administering medication Sure thing, though not any sort of needle injections.
Reviews
Thank you for taking such great care of Lola. I appreciated the daily updates. This was a nice fit for her having you around during the day and the companionship of your two dogs.
Kimberly is fantastic! She took care of my baby for 2 weeks. She sent me regular photos and texts and I know Coco was very happy with her. I will use her services again and highly recommend!
Lucy stayed for a week and was clearly very well taken care of. She’s just 15 months and has a lot of energy and also wants lots of love; she definitely got that. She was happy to go and happy when we picked her up. Kimberly took the time to send updates and pictures almost daily. Her other dogs were great with Lucy too. We will definitely rebook.
Lucy enjoyed herself, thank you!

I have a fenced in yard and 2 pups of my own to provide entertainment! We often get out on local hikes but will keep your dog on leash always.

Information Kimberley W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the dog's general temperament and a bit about their personality (do they like to play a lot, are they more mellow, will they bark at the postman, do they like the taste of socks, etc.). Young pups must be crate trained. No breed preferences. Once we schedule a sitting, I would like to know more about his/her basic needs in terms of food, training, exercise and sleep schedule, etc. I'll try my best to accommodate!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Neighborhood walks or the dog park! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog is welcome to sleep on his/her dog bed, his/her crate, or on the floor (young pups must sleep in a crate). We don't let dogs in our beds or on our furniture. Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home so am here most of the day with your dog. I do go out for groceries, dinner, gym, or the like but that will be max ~2-3 hours.
