Pet care experience

I am a 39-year-old female and I live by myself in a lake community in Marlton. I currently work as a freelancer/contract remotely from a home office. That scenario gives me the opportunity to be near full-time with planned guests. I do have other secondary work that I flex with my full-time position that requires physical travel so it is important to book sooner than later so that I am able to plan and hold space. Since I have the flexibility, I will be physically with your pet for the majority of the time when in my care if boarding. If not, again, those times will be discussed when they’d be alone for any time that is more than 1-2 hours. I live in a lake community with access to paved walking paths, hiking trails, fields, & a fenced dog park. What I am able to accommodate (in my home): • I am able, within my home, to sit for 1 house-trained dog/pet at a time but will make exceptions to consider 2-3 if there are attached pets for the same family and on their sizes or otherwise discussed. • If multiple pets are requested, I would prefer only doing this for the smaller breeds, considering my type of residence, but I am open to discussing arrangements on a case-by-case basis. There will also be a custom quote made based on spoken arrangements. Within my personal home I have restrictions based on association rules, my own dogs, household property, and respect to my neighbors: • I can not accommodate cats due to allergies though I am open and willing to tolerate sitting cats outside of my home. • I can not accommodate dogs that continuously bark in my home. Barking as an alert, at a passerby, or minimally barks for other reasons is acceptable. It is the constant and steady barking that has been problematic with my past guests. I don’t mind this otherwise if I am caring for your pet in your home. • I can not accommodate dogs that are not house-broken or if they are males that mark within a home unless you are ok that they are restricted to an easy-clean-up area such as the kitchen. I have my own dogs (males) and they do tend to break their training and follow suit if I allow for it by another pet. If your dogs does exhibit marking that is unexpected, if able, I will put a belly band on them. My dogs also wear them when there is guests. • I can not accommodate destructive dogs that chew on things other than on their toys unless it is agreed, in some form, that any potential of destroyed property will be replaced or fixed without question. • I can not accommodate a dog that does not know how to walk on a leash due to the association rules and for the safety of your pet Though I can not accommodate the above in my own home, for an additional daily fee, I am accepting of the above pet nuances and can be available for house/pet sitting within your home. I can also be available for stretched periods of time as long as I am able to connect to your WiFi (for my full-time work purposes). In my past experience, this is sometimes better for pets with severe anxieties, for more than 2 pets, and aggressive pets. _________________________________________ My current pets are special-needs rescued male Pomeranians. My previous pet was a 15yo rescued senior Pomeranian (adopted at age 10) and I have cared for family pets since I have been extremely young. Aside from ownership, I have plenty of experience sitting in homes with multiple types of pets (dogs, cats, and other small animals like chinchillas, birds, reptiles, fish, rats/mice, ferrets) as well as in homes with multiple animals. I have experience sitting for a foster parent so I am versed with many different temperaments and breeds of dogs. I can provide a contact number as a reference if necessary. In addition, I have owned and boarded animals with health issues (including my previous boy who had a lifelong heart condition) so I am very familiar with administering medications both orally, ocular meds, as well as injections related to diabetic pets. I am 100% up for conversations and questions if you potentially are considering me for the care of your pet and to set up a meet-and-greet if needed. Other Disclaimers: • I have a strong allergy to cats but I do care for cats given certain circumstances that can be arranged

Information Kimberlee S. would like to know about your pet

If in my own home, smaller breeds are preferred but depending on the temperament and personality of a larger dog, I do consider. If outside my home, I don’t have a breed preference or restriction. I love them all :)

A typical day

In addition to taking the dog for walks in the walking paths and trails within my community, there is a small fenced in dog park within the community I live in where I often take my guests to run off of a leash. I usually do not do this with other dogs present and if I do, it's only because the dog is the same in size and have asked if the dog is friendly with others and that your dog is also showing signs of wanting to play.
