Hello, my name is Kim. I live with my husband, Marc, our twin boys (human!) and of course our girl, Maggie Moo the Cockapoo! 🐾 We’re big dog lovers. I have had dogs all of my life and as a child, I would earn pocket money by walking my neighbours dogs too, I guess you could say that my first job was dog walking! I know how anxious you can be leaving your dog when you aren’t available yourself, so finding the right person is so important We have two children, so it is essential that your pup is good with kids. Our boys have been around dogs all their lives, so don’t worry, they are very gentle with dogs - they love them as much as we do. Maggie is a five year old cockapoo. One minute she is very lively, the next she is fast asleep – she’s never anything in between! Maggie is friendly with other dogs, although she is sometimes nervous initially with smaller dogs and puppies, but this doesn’t last long. We live in the Radyr area of Cardiff, which is surrounded by parks and walks. We are near hills and rivers too. I have a car, so I can travel as needed and I’m happy to pick up/drop off if required. We live in a three story townhouse, opposite a park. We have an enclosed back garden, with a 6ft wall. Doggy’s can have the run of downstairs, which is a large kitchen/diner and French doors to the garden. We also have another living room, upstairs. We’re a really active family. We spend most weekends out and about and Maggie always comes. On a normal day, Maggie will usually get either one very long walk or a couple of shorter walks. It’s not uncommon for us to be out all afternoon. We generally only take on one booking at a time. We dog sit because we love dogs and enjoy their company.
