Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs around me my whole life! At one point my family had seven dogs of all sizes in our house. I personally have two naughty, playful beagles that are the loves of my life. I’m very comfortable with taking care of dogs, and I also love playing with them. I’m also capable of handling more energetic pups, as well as the more temperamental ones! I try as much as I can to give them love so that they can trust me too. I live in an apartment that is dog friendly and has a doggy parlour. It’s a quiet space, and I try my best to make the dogs I take care of feel at home. Being around dogs gives me so much joy and I definitely treat other people’s dogs as well as I would treat my own.

Kim was absolutely amazing with our dog. I could tell from all the photos and videos she constantly sent that Mia was very content and spoiled. Her regular updates kept us at ease that she was in good hands. Mia came back as a happy and tired pup. I highly recommend her. Thank you Kim!

BEST dog sitter ever!!! Anyone in the Boston area could not ask for a better sitter. Kim was great with our high energy puppy who loved her as well. She was extremely flexible and shared constant updates so we were never worried.

I treat them like I would my own fur babies. I really do love giving them the attention they need and also the space they prefer, and I’m pretty good at observing body language to figure out how they’re feeling.

How they react to strangers petting them. I've seen dogs who get spooked easily, and it would be terrible for someone to get bitten by accident, or for your dog to run away.
A typical day
I live in Hayes Valley, which is gorgeous for walks! I understand how important exercise and play is, and will always prioritize walks and play time with the dogs who stay with me. I have a typical route that I take which goes for about 45 min, but sometimes I'll improvise if I feel the dog wants to walk around more. I ALWAYS stay leashed, and keep a short leash around other dogs (always want to be careful). While I work I have a dog bed near my desk that I wash after every visit, in case the dog wants to be close to me. I'm also quite firm on not giving the dogs who stay with me any human food, unless instructed by the owner. And lastly, I will give all dogs incessant amount of love and attention (I can't resist).

I work fully remote so I don’t leave the house often besides for maybe a grocery or pharmacy run. If I plan on going out to dinner, I’ll make sure to communicate with the pet owner first and to see if they are comfortable with it!
