Pet care experience
I have a long-time love of animals and tons of experience with my own furry children and helping friends and family with theirs. I understand the enormous responsibility and trust you are placing with me when placing your pets in my care. I can pet-sit your fuzzy babies in your home, or mine. I have one dog and three cats that are well-adjusted and very used to other dogs visiting. I live on three wooded acres in a quiet neighborhood with lots of opportunity to exercise, walk and explore. I am also available for overnight and daily care in your home, if you prefer that your pets stay where they are most comfortable. I can also provide drop-in visits and walks. Let me know what you and your pets need!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing our experience with Kim was. She stayed with our pups for 3 weeks!! They were so well taken care of, and Kim also went above and beyond to accommodate a service visit from a repair man, as well as running to the post office to retrieve a much needed prescription refill for one of our dogs. She is more capable and responsible than any dog sitter we have ever had!
Zammi took to Kim immediately. We got back a happy pup . Love that she got to socialize with other dogs on her walks. We highly recommend Kim
What a pleasure it was to leave Ziggy with Kim! She was so accommodating when we had to change the time for drop-off & then we added one more day & Kim was very responsive in letting me know that it would work. She has a wonderful property & took exceptional care with our older pup. I would recommend her to everyone! And the pics she took are so great!
Kim took excellent care of Miles, even going out of the way to keep him separated from her dog since he wasn’t really interested. She was great with communication and sent great photos of his quick daycare stay!

I do not have a fenced yard so visiting doggos will be on a leash while outside or on walks with me. I live in the forest so there are lots of critters that dogs like to chase (deer, rabbits, turkeys, squirrels, etc.) and I never want to have to call an owner to tell them I've lost their dog. Visiting doggos are not kenneled while here - they have free run of the house and can sleep on carpet, big doggy beds, the couch or the bed.
Information Kim W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what your dog responds to and what commands they are used to hearing. Do they know 'COME' vs. 'HERE' or 'TREAT' vs 'COOKIE'. What things are they used to hearing you say? What scares them? What do they NOT like? What do they love to do and which is their favorite toy? Are they possessive of certain toys or food? What is their experience with other dogs and new people? Any medical conditions? Food allergies? Where do they usually sleep? Do they like to swim? Will they chase squirrels and rabbits? I want to get to know your pets! Tell me everything you can think of and be honest about any behavioral problems you may have, or what things your pets may be reactive to.
A typical day
I introduce visiting doggos to my dog, Khaos, outside in the yard, and then we immediately go on a walk. I've found that to take the focus off each other and the dogs become more concerned with sniffing the forest, while getting used to being around each other. I let new dogs into the house alone to sniff things for a while, show them the water bowl and doggy toy bin, and then let them do doggy things.

I am self-employed and WFH so I'm there all the time for services in my home or yours. My (real) work schedule is determined by me, so I'm available for walks and drop-ins as needed.
