I <3 dogs & the feeling is mutual!

Pet care experience

I have been pet-sitting and house-sitting since I was about 15 years old, right before I could drive. I love all kinds of animals, and when I started, one of my clients had two dachshund dogs, including one that was blind, a cat, and hamsters plus baby-sitting. I have dog sat a lot of my family and friend's dogs, just for fun. This has included watching their dogs for weeks, while they were on vacation. Some of the care I have provided for other dogs was administrating eye drops, giving oral medications (pills & liquid), and insulin. My boyfriend said I should download this app because I am so great with animals & get some income while I do what I love! I I have been on the Rover platform for 5 years and I’m available full-time. I follow instructions well so if you have something extra that is needed, just let me know and should be able to do it! If your dog stays with me, I have my awesome, and caring boyfriend (of 7 years), who loves animals, to help out as needed since he works from home. I am a full time petsitter and my partner works from home so there is always somebody home to care 24/7 at our house. When I housesit, I stay there & only have to step out for dog walks and errands. Our house is an open environment for the pups to explore like they would at home. We do not crate our guests unless you request it. My partner and I are there 24/7 to supervise.

Information Kim S. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences. We do have a weight/size maximum at this time, but mostly your dog must get along with other dogs, as I have a dorgi, who is 7 years old, but also have other dogs that I board.

A typical day

We moved into a new neighborhood February 2022 and have a dog park just down the road which is a lot of fun! We have a yard for potty time and a great spot for walks including the trail around Hancock golf course. Both Will and I strongly encourage setting time aside each day for fetch, toys, walks, and the dog park with our clients' dogs for whom such physical activity is appropriate. This usually leads to napping. Lots and lots of naps :D (naptime, too, is heartily encouraged)
