Some of my best friends have been fur people. For the first time in four decades I don't have a pet of my own. I'm skilled, strong and balanced in my approach, as well as playful, energetic and conscientious. I have a buddy who is my occasional back up dog walker, only if prearranged, and we have each owned labs, shepherds, terriers, hounds, bully breeds, and blended pet landscapes over the years with cats, reptiles and birds. I do the all of the sittings and walks and David, also a background checked Rover walker, has been great back up and tandem in prearranged care situations - we became friends when David needed elder care for his late mother back in 2016. I have a blast with my mother's little black pug, Betty Boop (pictured) a.k.a. the Kraken, when they visit a couple times a year from Michigan. Call me and I will simultaneously be of service to you and your fur bestie and to make sure everyone is as comfortable as possible, meet and greets are required and invaluable. I will ALWAYS need a full accounting of every animal in the house listed on the profile before a meet and greet can be scheduled. I also have daily requirements that make round the clock care unavailable at this time. Minimum house-sit requirements: off-street parking, WiFi, and a bed in a room with a door. Usual minimum walk/drop-ins for dogs: 3 per day (3rd visit can be a shorter). Usual minimum visits for cats: 1 per day. Finally, please note, any housesits/visits on the nearby keys (Siesta, Bird, Lido) bookings may have a minimum $10/day service/drawbridge/traffic fee between November 1st and April 30th.
