Pawsitively Insured & Bonded

Pet care experience

I have taken care of pets since I was a young girl. I decided to do it professionally about 15 years ago. I started with friends, family, neighbors and then my business took off from there. I currently have one dog (Rainey) of my own, who is probably treated better than some children! She is very spoiled, I will provide the same exact attention to your furkid as I do my own. I will love your furkid like he/she is my own, as will my husband. Rainey is very friendly and loves to play. She tends to go with the flow when it comes to other dogs. If they want to play hard, Rainey plays hard. If they would rather just be chill, Rainey is chill. SAFETY IS MY TOP PRIORITY! I have gone through an enhanced background check through a third party provider verified by Rover. I am fully insured and bonded. I have been trained in pet first aid and CPR and am certified. I have extensive training in dog behavior and am constantly furthering my knowledge by taking canine-related courses pertaining to behavior and training. Your furkid will be staying in a safe and secure environment so that you don’t have to worry about them while they are here. And, did I mention they will get lots of attention and TLC from both me and my husband? My availability is somewhat flexible, but it is best to message me with what you are needing and let's also get together for a meet-and-greet!

Kim makes it easy to leave our fur baby because we know he will be loved and cared for. She sends the best pictures and updates to make us feel comfortable and when we pick Max up he always seems refreshed and happy like he’s been on vacation himself!

We’ve used Kim multiple times for our 2 senior dogs and she is terrific. Both dogs are so exited when their car ride ends in a visit to Kim’s house! Even though 1 dog is blind and the other has joint probems, she takes care of them as if they’re her own. I never worry.

Information Kim R. would like to know about your pet

***PLEASE NOTE: I am currently not boarding new clients in my home. I only offer drop-in visits*** ***NO DOGS OVER 50 LBS FOR BOARDING*** Proof of up-to-date vaccinations required at meet & greet. As long as your furkid is not aggressive and gets along with Rainey, we are fine. The meet & greet should tell the story! Rainey is usually very friendly with all dogs but there is that occasional dog that she just doesn't see eye-to-eye with. Again, the meet & greet is very important and will tell the story. I like to do the meet & greet when my husband is home (especially if you are planning on boarding your dog) just so we can make sure that we all get along. This is VERY important! Meet & greet times vary and are usually scheduled when I do not have any dogs here for daycare or boarding. I do not like to crate dogs for a meet & greet as it can affect Rainey's demeanor, as well as the visiting dog(s), in a negative way. A crated boarder barks and it interrupts all involved in my experience. ***Please note, for safety reasons, my husband does accompany me to most all meet & greets that are in clients' homes.*** I want your pet to feel comfortable with me, whether in my home or yours, and the best way for that to happen is to tell me about a normal day in the life of your pet, i.e., a walk at a certain time, potty break at a certain time, feeding time, play time, favorite toys, special treats, etc. Please note, one night is a 24-hour stay. If you will need any more time than this, please let me know so that I can adjust the price accordingly. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and consider my services. I look forward to meeting you and taking care of your furkid soon!

A typical day

• Regular exercise. We will take walks around the neighborhood as well as play all day long both inside and outside. • Toys. There is no lack of dog toys in this house so plenty to do from doggie mind games to fetch. • Water fun. On warmer days, we have a kiddie pool, which is filled daily with fresh/clean water. We also have a doggie sprinkler that the dogs can run through. • Updates. A minimum of a once-a-day update along with photos and/or videos will be provided. Please let me know if you want more!
