Pet care experience
I have always had dogs and cats. As a child my family always had a dog and a couple of cats. As a grownup I felt having pets and caring for them was important for my kids while they were growing up. My family has a long history of dog adoptions and rescues. I currently have a Great Pyrenees and a Shorkie, and 4 cats. I have pet sat my friends animals (when we lived in Virginia) , and volunteered at the SPCA when living in SC. We are a military family. Now retired and have settled back in NH where I am from.

Dear Rover.com, Please accept Kim as one of your pet caretakers. Kim has an extraordinary talent to tend to family pets. She has cared for a massively large Great Pyrenees, 4 cats, and a baby squirrel. Kim has assisted family friends with taking care of their pets while they were on vacation, and this includes a happily energetic Boxer dog. I would vote Kim as the best animal caretaker I have had the pleasure dealing with.
Kim is just GREAT with all animals and took care of my Dog and cats as lovingly and carefully as I do. No surprise, she has her own dogs and cats because she is a true animal lover. Beyond just making sure they were cared for she spent time playing with them and walking them. Her communication with me the entire time was great, incl a couple of pics. I couldn't be happier with her care for my loved ones. I will use her every time I get a worktrip, absolutely! 10/10

I love all breeds of dogs. I feel it is important to let an animal warm up to you in their own time. I will work with all dogs/cats according to their individual personalities and spend extra time with those who really need it.
A typical day
Weather permitting, I walk my dogs daily. We also have two fenced in yards that they love. Both of my dogs, even the little one, like going for trial walks or walks downtown. I feel it is important for them to get lots of exercise. I also like to leave soft music or classical music on for my dogs when they are home alone.

Availability
I am not working full time. I am a substitute teacher occasionally at my daughter's Middle School. I worked full time for Medicaid, people with developmental disabilities, for 4 years in Virginia before moving back to NH last summer. I am very flexible with my schedule and don't mind doing early mornings or evenings.
