Kim did a great job with Hapi and i trust her in my home.

A regretful 1 star review - I would NOT recommend this sitter. I paid extra for Kim to stay at my home which is important to my dog, who is a 6-month old rescue who the shelter believed was abandoned; this was her first stay with a dogsitter, and I wanted my dog to at least have the comfort of her own home while I was away. Instead, Kim came once to my home to take my dog, her crate, and her food, and then took her somewhere else (I assume her own home so that she could care for her own dog), where my dog stayed. This is not what I paid extra for nor what we agreed upon. In fact, I found this out because upon returning home I noticed my dog was not home like I expected her to be, and her crate and food were missing. I also had a handyman come by when Kim was supposed to be home in the middle of the stay to do some work but he told me that neither she nor my dog were home when he tried to come by. My neighbors said the same thing. I also have a motion detector in my home and upon checking it it shows that it was only activated once (when Kim first came and left) throughout a four day stay. I find it unprofessional and dishonest that I would not only get charged more for her to house sit when in fact she didn't, and for her to take my dog to stay at her home without asking me. Kim also claims that she tried texting me all weekend but found out right when I was returning that she had been texting "the wrong number" when in fact I got a few texts from her and a Rover message. Unprofessional and dishonest. My dog is back and started chewing on some furniture which she has never chewed on before. I believe this is anxiety caused by staying somewhere unexpected which may have triggered some of her abandonment feelings. I hope she will be okay. There are many great dogsitter options out there so please choose wisely. This was my first with Kim and will also be my last.
