Guarentee to spoil your baby!
Pet care experience
I have owned dogs all of my life. I have been fostering and placing dogs into their furever homes for over 8 years now and have helped over 250 dogs by taking them into my home, teaching them how to be a dogs, helping with medical and emotional conditions, and integrating them into great homes. I have learned a lot from my experience including breed specific traits, how to introduce dogs to new things, and much much more. I am hoping to earn enough extra money to become a certified dog trainer. Oh, and I am off all summer as I teach high school chemistry. Walking- I will visit your home and walk your dogs. I have walked up to 4 dogs at once. I DO NOT use retractable leashes as they can be quite dangerous to the dog. I have experience with distraction techniques and the reward system. Home Visits- I will feed, water, and pay with your dog in addition to letting them take care of their business whether it is on a leash or in a fenced in yard. I LOVE giving dogs hugs and kisses. Overnights- Your baby will be my baby while at my house. Our foster dogs were/are always treated the same as our own dogs. I have two dogs of my own that are very used to meeting new dogs and accepting them into our pack. I have had up to 11 dogs in my house at once as I was fostering in an emergency case. However, if you were in my small home, you would never know it. They are calm and loved. Also, I have limited my overnights to 2-3 dogs max.
Reviews
Kim and her husband were wonderful with our puppy while we were out of town. Our 6 month puppy hasn’t been socialized much due to the “the times” and was scared to be around other dogs, but Kim and her husband handled the situation beautifully. I would definitely recommend her!
Kim was great! Our dog was so happy to go see her l, happy to come home, and just exhausted from playing. She was able to sleep on a bed and play the day away. That’s all she ever wants and its what she got!
Toula my mini dachshund stayed with Kim, her husband, daughter and their pack while I attended a seminar in Houston, TX. My daughter was in Florida for the week, and this was the first time Toula was away from us overnight for a week stay. I didn't want to board her at a kennel where she was crated and alone all night long. So luckily I found Kim on Rover.com. All I can say is Kim and her family and pack did a wonderful job taking care of Toula. They are dog people for sure, Toula was allowed on the furniture and in the bed with them just like their dogs. Kim sent me pictures and videos which helped me, since I was missing Toula so much. I give Kim and her pack my highest recommendation, and if I have to travel again I will definitely be calling her!
Kim is very knowledgeable and caring. My dogs were treated like her own. I would highly recommend Kim for your pet sitter.

Information Kim H. would like to know about your pet
All dogs that I board need to get along well with other dogs. I would need to know if they are escape artists or diggers. I like to know if they tend to mark so that I can use belly bands. I would ask if they are on any special diet or are taking any medications. I would also ask if there are any special quirks or routines that the dog is used to.
A typical day
We play fetch, tug, and just snuggle. All dogs are free to roam in my house unless you request that they are crated or separated. I have doggie toys, doggie beds, pee pads if necessary, and lot of love to give. The dogs all have the option option of sleeping with my husband and I in our bed. We have made room for 8-9 dogs at a time (small of course). They may also sleep on doggie beds or in crates with blankets that we keep open for them.
