Animals have always been some sort of special affection in my life. I grew up in Maui, HI with my parents as dog breeders. We always had a couple pets including cats and dogs, lots of goats, sheep, and at one point a pet deer that we rescued as a fawn. My grandmother also had a chicken colony and I found myself constantly rescuing abandoned chicks as a kid. I have always had a infatuated love for animals, particularly dogs. I decided to harness my endless love towards animals working at a local vet in high school. Then I went off to college in Colorado. Once I graduated I moved up to summit county to live a ski bum lifestyle, however I did miss having an animal outlet in my life. I worked at a summit county animal hospital for a half a year which was an incredible learning experience. I did learn once again that I love to spend time with animals in a positive and adventurous light. I am constantly looking for any opportunity for my friends and family to pawn their pets off on me since I do not have any pets of my own currently. I am now a server and like to pet/house sit during the slower mud season when I am not working full time and have open availability. Coming into the busy winter season I still like to house and pet sit part-time. Besides loving animals, I am constantly pursuing some adventure whether it be hiking 14ers, climbing and bouldering, trail running, backcountry split-boarding, snowboarding, or off roading. I also like to unwind with some yoga, playing music, or painting. I find that having a pet by your side makes any activity and life itself more enjoyable.
