A caring, fun wellness experience!

Pet care experience

This is not your typical stay! My goal is to create the ideal experience for your dog's individual needs. I've been caring for animals for about 12 years with a lot of experience with senior dogs. I was a therapist/counselor for people, now I work with dogs! Close to Disney, I’m in the Windermere/Horizon West area, also very close to Winter Garden.

Kim was wonderful with our dog Katie! She was available to board her for the duration of a last minute trip we took (week long) and communicated with daily updates including pictures of activities she did with her (e.g. dog park). Her genuine compassion towards the dogs she cares for is apparent and we are thankful to her for making Katie’s “vaca” as enjoyable as ours, 😊🙏🏼

The last time my dog stayed with someone, she came home shaken and depressed for a couple of days. I almost wondered if she'd been drugged. So I went through Rover and found Kim! Good reviews, close. I had no idea how fortunate we were to find her. We went for a meet-and-greet and found an immaculate home set up for easy dog care. She has crates (if needed), large separated areas in case dogs need a little distance from each other and everything her overnight guests need — toys, beds, food bowls, etc. She understands the dogs' body language and lets them get comfortable. We didn't think our dog would associate with another dog, but Kim introduced her to her other guests with no issue. Our whole family was shocked that our dog had not been a bully! We appreciated how well she communicated with us while we were gone — pics and everything. She will be our first call when we need someone to watch our girl!

Kim is wonderful! She accepted a last minute booking that was a life saver! Rascal is very comfortable with her and that’s all I need. Thank you so much

Safety, trust & environment

You can find a lower cost option, but here they're given a special experience. My house is allergy/smoke free, I use air purifiers, clean constantly(!) and have a large "Dog Den", (see pics) that provides a healthy space. They'll enjoy the beds, blankets, best toys and games and I use dog gates for additional safety. Your dog just needs to have a collar, leash, food/treats, vits/meds they’ll need and I provide all the rest. Please place all items in a bag of your choice for easy transitions.

Information Kim G. would like to know about your pet

Any restrictions, allergies, issues, or meds? Please have shots up to date, provide your Vet's info and an emergency contact if you will be unreachable. Overnight stays are up to 24 hours. I understand travel issues can arise or plans change and I'm happy to adjust. Please book a daycare for the last day if you’re going to go over 24 hrs, which can extend your time longer for pick up delays than the extended stay option.

A typical day

I take the time to keep them mentally, emotionally and physically fit and happy! From puzzles for mental stimulation, lots of emotional support from one on one time and toys that keep them happy. There are 2 large fenced dogs parks in my community to run and play as well. PLEASE NOTE: I typically only take 1-2 dogs at a time (more on certain holidays, summer), up to 30 lbs and breeds within that weight. If you don't do a meet/greet and your dog arrives weighing 40lbs or more, is aggressive or of a breed/mix of larger dogs, you'll have the option to cancel or the fee will increase $15/day.
