I have been with Rover over 5 years. I started watching friend’s dogs during their work time. My experience in working several years in a veterinary clinic gives me a keen eye for dog sicknesses, ailments and first aid. We train and compete with our own dogs in AKC events (conformation, obedience, agility, rally, hunt tests) as well as I taught obedience classes for 10 years and trained many of my own dogs. For more than 20 years, I have volunteered with various breed Rescues, including fostering, temperament testing and dog transports. I thoroughly enjoy all dogs and working with them. I’m very in tune with dog behavior and love to be able to give each dog their time to acclimate to avoid undue stress. We currently have 2 high energy dogs that at the end of the day love to snuggle up with myself and the family. We occasionally co-breed German Shorthair Pointers. I understand the importance of knowing your family member is safe and well cared for in your absence. Very able and willing to take care of special needs and senior pets as well.
