Pet care experience
I am a middle- aged, responsible, retiree/former dog-mom & loving dog-aunt, with 15 years experience who would love to take care of your dog while you enjoy your getaway. There is a nice, shaded local park, one block from my house for daily walks, weather permitting & also sidewalks. I will respect & value your pet while they're in my care. My house has 4 steps to the back door/deck & only 2 small steps from the deck to the yard. The yard is kept clean of dog poop regularly. I am OK with any special dietary/medication requirements. I look forward to meeting you & your loved one! When I'm gone for errands it's usually brief, about an hour. I can cover most holidays, too.

This 2 weeks stay is the longest we've ever left Pete but he's had multiple visits with Kim and is very comfortable there. We missed him but thoroughly enjoyed the daily updates and pictures.
Another great stay for our G-man. He loves going to Kim's and we couldn't ask anyone more caring.
Kim is a caring and conscientious dog sitter and I can leave my pet with her in total confidence that he will be happy and safe.

I have a totally fenced backyard & don't leave the dog alone while out for potty breaks. Poo is cleaned up right away unless they go in the dark, just before bed, then it is bagged up at first light.

A typical day
Up to potty in the morning then if they like to go for walks it's usually within 1-2 hours after rising & before noon, weather permitting. Depending on the dog & the weather, we may go for a 2nd walk in the afternoon. We'll play ball, indoors or out, depending on the dog's preference. There is a local park 2 blocks away with much green space.

I am retired & home mostly all day except for errands to the grocery, usually about an hour. I leave the TV on to keep dogs company while absent.
