Kim was supposed to stay at our house for 3 nights over 4th of July weekend. We met the day before and reviewed everything in person (I even booked it as a dog walk so she’d be compensated). We also texted the wishes of what we needed in someone house and pet sitting, and I typed out specific instructions. I can definitely report that our instructions were NOT followed. She was supposed to walk the dogs two times a day in addition to their morning and evening potty breaks. Our ring doorbell captures everything and she left the dogs at 8 am and didn’t return until 6 pm and claimed she didn’t know she was supposed to walk them during the day too. After I asked her about that, she left my house 20 minutes later and never returned! She claimed a family emergency, which if that’s true is very unfortunate. If it’s not true (which ROVER) and I suspect, she literally abandoned our 3 dogs while I was out of state. I literally had to find emergency care on the 4th of July! Not an easy task! When the emergency walker arrived, she found our dogs were left running around the house (they are normally confined to one large area behind a gate, which had been verbal instructions and also in written instructions). She also left doors open to rooms we don’t allow the dogs in. I would not recommend Kim as a dog walker, house sitter, or anything that one needs to follow directions to keep your home and loved ones safe and Alive.

Kim has been a dog sitter for me for about five years. She is punctual, reliable, and responsive to special needs requests. She is clearly a dog lover, and my dogs love her back. She even makes them homemade healthy treats. She is friendly, respectful, and courteous. I have even recommended her to friends and co-workers.
