Pet care experience
I have been pet-sitting and house-sitting for over 10 years. I love all dogs and cats and will give your pet the best care they can get. (I also have experience with fish, rats, and reptiles). I am very responsible and trustworthy. I will walk, hike, or go to the beach depending on the dog and your preferences. I'll also come to your house to play with your dog, feed your dog, brush, bathe, or overnight sit your dog; that way your dog can feel safe and comfortable in his/her own home! I love all dogs and will watch any size or type of dogs. I work in wildlife rehab, so I am comfortable around any animal and remain calm in tense situations. This also makes me familiar with animal injuries, illnesses, and medications. I am skilled at administering medications to dogs if necessary or part of the daily/weekly routine. Kim was great! She was very communicative and friendly. I got daily updates with pictures of all of my babies. My house was also just as clean as I left it with animals that were very happy and without stress. It was obvious that Kim followed their typical schedule and loved them so much that they weren't to worried about us being gone. Leaving my pets with Kim allowed me to enjoy my vacation that much more!
Kim is the BEST! We have two needy black cats who love to be snuggled. Kim gave them plenty of attention and took amazing photos to keep us updated each day. The photos said it all. When your cats lay down on their backs stretching to fully expose their belly to someone, you know they feel safe! It was great to know they were well cared for while we were gone. ❤️?⬛?⬛
We scheduled a meeting with Kim prior to booking our dogsitting appt, to make sure that Oliver was comfortable with her and to let her know what our routine was like. Ollie instantly took to Kim's friendly nature and they became fast friends. We were so relieved to know that a true animal-lover was taking care of our furbaby while we were away. She followed our routine and kept Ollie company over night. She regularly updated us and sent pics which gave us invaluable peace of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Kim as a dogsitter the next time you need to go out of town.

Are there any special precautions I should know before walking your dog? (e.g. can your dog get out of his/her collar/harness easily) Does your dog have any allergies, anxiety, or other medical issues? For overnight sitting, is your dog allowed on couches, beds, every room, etc? Please let me know any details that will help me make your dog as comfortable as he/she can be!
A typical day
I will go anywhere the owner is comfortable that I take his/her dog. I enjoy hiking in Palos Verdes, and can do anything from short walks to long and strenuous hikes. I can also take your dog to the beach or dog park!
