I grew up being around dogs and loving them. I helped my family care for four dogs throughout my childhood. As an adult, I've always loved being around dogs and caring for them. In Spring 2018, my husband and I quit our corporate jobs and decided to travel in South America for a year. We used the website Workaway to volunteer with local hosts throughout our travels. As part of this volunteer work, I took care of many different types of dogs. Care included twice daily walks, playtime, feeding, and grooming. Since returning to the U.S., we've been traveling using the website Trusted Housesitters and have looked after dogs and houses. For example, in October 2019, we spent over 2 weeks taking care of 2 goldendoodles who were high energy. I had a wonderful time getting to know the dogs and caring for them. Currently, I am available to housesit for pets, stop by for drop-in visits, or take your dog for a walk. I love hiking and running too, and would love to take your dog! I live in the Dana Point, CA area and am generally available during weekdays and weekends. I have a deep love for pets and can't wait to help care for yours!
