Pet care experience
My name is Kiersten and I am a veterinary technician student who needs a little help paying off her student loans! I love all animals and have over 20 years of experience with taking care of dogs, cats, rats, birds, lizards, snakes, turtles, chickens, bunnies, fish, pigs and... tarantulas. Because of my internships with vet hospitals, I have experience with caring for animals in all walks of life with all sorts of health issues. Pet/house sitting let’s me attend school online and also help clients with long term or short term care. I am free on most weekdays and weekends and I am open to long periods of care and overnight care. I am a very active so walking and playing are a breeze. My mission is to make sure all animals I work with are comfortable, safe, and loved. Feel free to contact me for more information and a free meet and greet. I would love to chat! I am currently going to school online and working part time and looking to switch to telecommuting, so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals! Safety and trust are my top priority with both owner and pets. Understanding the mental and physical health needs of an animal is a must when being trusted with a clients animals. The needs of every pet is different, and getting relevant information from the client about common behaviors, set schedules and enjoyable activities is an imperative part of the process. Whether it is just a walk or a long stay, I want to develop a trusting relationship with your pet and of course you! (And pet snuggles, I love pet snuggles)

Best sitter we’ve had! Since the meet and greet Kiersten was great with my cats, you can just tell she loves animals and they love her back! (And she is also super friendly with humans :) ) And during the visits she left detailed info and went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and keep the apt clean from litter paws etc. Will definitely recommend and rebook! Kiersten has taken care of our dog at least half a dozen times by now, perhaps more. She is amazing. She is loving with our pets and seems to take genuine delight in them. She is responsive to our communications. She is respectful of our space. And super flexible. Kiersten is a real gem and we are so luck to have found her!
Kiersten was dependable and responsive for drop-in visits to my two dogs. My younger, more active dog waited by the door for Kiersten for days after her visits, so it appears he had a great time. Would recommend her for doggie-care without reservation.
