Pet care experience
We have been sitters on Rover for two years! We’ve had 84 bookings with most of them being long stays. The longest booking we’ve had was a month stay! and we’ve loved every moment of it (: We understand how hard it can be to leave your pet for days - let alone with a stranger! It’s extremely important to us that each dog owner is just as comfortable with us as their dog is during the stay. That’s why we make sure we send consistent updates (with photos!) and give lots of love to every furry friend.

The apartment that we live in is pet friendly. We have a small balcony that is closed in so there is no concern of any pets jumping through. However, we will not allow your dog onto the balcony without your permission. We get nice sunlight throughout the apartment, fresh air (we do not smoke) and there’s space throughout the apartment to play. The neighborhood that we live in is the perfect area for walking as we see many dogs being walked throughout the day. We dog proof our space prior to every stay. We make sure that any small items are put away in a place that is not visible or could be found. We also clean the apartment between each stay so that when a new dog enters our home, they can make it their space without smelling previous dogs that have stayed with us and getting nervous, etc.

We think it is important to know of any fears your pet may have. Your pet's comfort is our top priority so if they're afraid of bikes, we want to make sure we distract them with extra love while a bike goes by on a walk, etc. We also like to know of any allergies, medication the pet may be taking or any other health related things. If your dog has a lot of allergies and tends to itch but you are trying to keep them from doing so, we want to support you by watching out for that so we can help! If your dog is nervous of men, we would like to know so that we can let your dog get comfortable with Evan at his own pace. We have watched quite a few dogs that are nervous of men and all do very well with Evan. (they end up becoming best friends!) We also have a lot of experience with dogs that have anxiety.
A typical day
We will go on walks so your pet will be able to explore the area, sniff away and have fun doing it! We love to go on walks so we're always up for a nice long walk together. We love to bond with animals so we'll lounge on the couch, watch movies and hang out!

Information about Kiersten: I am an actor, model and singer-songwriter so I do most of my work from home 90% of the time. If I get called onto set, Evan is home and able to keep your pet company and cared for. Information about Evan: I work in various areas on the music industry. I work partially from home and partially in office but have flexibility to if Kiersten gets called onto set. We work very well to ensure that your pet is never home alone. It is our priority to ensure your pet is comfortable in our home, maintains their normal schedule and always has someone to play with! We never want your dog to feel alone.
