I am a young professional with a great passion for food and animals. I have recently relocated to Honolulu from Miami. Growing up on the farm in Virginia, I've learned how to interact and care for many different animals including, horses, cows, cats, dogs, fish, ferrets, hamster, goats, sheep, and pigs to name a few. I am very open to working with and watching many different types of animals when needed. I have had experience with animals with special dietary and medical concerns as well as puppies and elderly animals who all require their own type of special care. In many ways I can be considered a concierge animal sitter. In Miami, I've spent quite a bit of my time volunteering with the humane society and working as a dog trainer. My three fur babies are currently in Virginia waiting out their quarantine, I personally have two beautiful cats and a handsome Great Dane Duke. What you can expect from me as a sitter: - My current availability allows me to do mostly house sitting opportunities and morning or night walks/drop ins for your pet and two days a week where I would be available for mid day training sessions or outings. - While I am watching your beloved four legged child you can expect pictures of our time together and updates on their day - During the visit your fur baby will be well socialized between myself and outings in their environment. - Depending on your/your pets comfort level we may take field trips to the nearby dog friendly beaches and parks in the area to get a well rounded socialization for your pet. - I have many toys, treats, and training exercises available for them to engage with including ropes, balls, kongs, and frisbees. - My training style is using non forceful methods and encouraging the animal to use their brain and not pain as a driving factor behind learning. - For transportation I use public transit, ride shares, and will occasionally rent a larger vehicle if I'm planning on doing an extensive outing with an animal. - When I am house sitting I will follow and honor your house rules regarding, schedules, food, furniture, ect. - I do offer training services as an additional cost if you have a pet with training needs, or is on a training plan and need someone who can follow the protocol already set in place by your trainer while you are away. - Also in regards to house sitting, I don't mind doing extra tasks for your home outside of cleaning up after myself & your pet during the stay i.e. dishes, laundry, vacuuming, plant watering, ect. however keep in mind that their will be an additional service fee associated.
