Pet care experience
Hello! I’m a local grad student with years of working with animals and caring for my own pets, and I hope I can care for yours. Most of my experience is with dogs, cats, and rodents, but I love all animals! I have been on Rover for over 2 years now, and I look forward to meeting more dogs in my community. My schedule is relatively flexible, I have my own transportation, and I am incredibly reliable. I have experience with giving medications to cats in liquid and pill form, and I understand animal body language in both cats and dogs well. If you asked, all of my friends and family would say that animals are one of the most important parts of my life, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Once again, as always, Kieran is awesome for us and our pet, Luci. Could not be happier or give a better River recommendation than choosing Kieran to take care of your pets. We always have complete Peace of Mind when we are away and he is at our apt. on a house stay or simply checking in on Luci from time to time.
Our little pup loves Kieran! He’s very dependable, gives thorough reports, and we’re lucky to have him watch after our puppy throughout the week.
Kieran is such a great cat sitter!! We had him stop by twice a day for roughly a week and he took great care of Brownie while we were gone. My only regret is that we don't live close enough to him to have him over more often :-( Brownie seems to have taken to him too. Brownie spent lots of time licking his hand and asking for belly rubs. Kieran sent us updates daily as well as pictures of our cat while we were away. This was great as we missed Brownie while on vacation. This is also the first time we made use of a visitor to drop by and check in on Brownie. Kieran was wonderful as he put our fears of Brownie not being taken care of, to rest. I would absolutely have Kieran watch Brownie again, and would definitely recommend him to others if you live in his service area. Couldn't be more satisfied.
Kieran has been walking my dog for several months now. She absolutely loves him. He is very good at letting me know if anything is different at my house and if something seems different with my dog. He gives her itch medicine when he thinks she needs it. They seem to have a lot of fun together. Very thankful to have Kieran as a dog walker.

While I have a special place in my heart for labs, I love all dog breeds! Some things that I like to know before I dog sit are routines for walking and feeding, how you would like me to train, reward, and discipline your dog (if applicable), as well as any house rules that I should be aware of. Similarly, I like to be in the know about any habits your pet may have, such as squeezing out of the front door when you try to leave, or frantically chasing squirrels or other dogs on a walk. In other words, I like to know as much as possible about you, your pet, and your home so that I can provide the best possible service for you, and the most consistent care possible for your pet!
A typical day
I love taking walks around different neighborhoods in Tacoma, as well as visiting local dog parks (with your prior approval!). My car has a back seat cover that ensures pups stay in the backseat, as well as seat belt clips that I can use if your dog has a harness. As well as walks around the neighborhood, I live near the University of Puget Sound which has many walking paths, as well as friendly people who love to pet dogs. I also enjoy exploring the different trails at Point Defiance Park, which will definitely tire your furry friend out!
