My name is Kiera, I’m a full-time pet caretaker. I’ve happily cared for both cats and dogs for 15 years; all with various levels of medical ailments which require great love and attention to detail. Looking after a pet comes with the knowledge that a new environment may make them feel unsafe which can lead to anxious behaviors. My clients and I prefer to keep the pet’s environment unchanged by keeping day-care and over-night stays at the clients home. This requires trust from both parties and is ultimately the best situation for the pets while their family is away.

Upon my stay, I would like to know their known commands to keep consistency in the home. Please describe their temperaments around other dogs when walking outside. Do they pull when walking? What are they motivated by (treats, toys, attention etc.)? Are there any abnormal behaviors I should be aware of? Any information is better than no information at all. My goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for your pet, and with this information I can do my best job of it.
A typical day
Under my watch and care your animal will receive constant attention and playtime. We will exercise often either with playtime outside or for long walks or runs around the neighborhood. When inside, I have a rotation of toys they can play with and will give them plenty of cuddles and love if they are happy to receive it.

Availability
Caring for pets is my full-time job, I have open and flexible availability and am happy to accommodate short term and long term requests for both cats and dogs. I always keep my calendar up-to-date so clients will have the latest information regarding bookings.
