Kiara overall is a nice person. We have used her in the past with no issues. So, we booked her again to care for my two pups over the Christmas holiday. We were not worried at all because Kiara has always been pretty amazing. However, this stay was not a good one. First, she left out cat food that my dog got into and caused him to get sick. Now she did let me know immediately, which I really appreciated. However, On Christmas day, she messaged me at 8:20pm, that she would not be able to make her 9pm drop in. Mind you, this was Christmas Day and my dog was still having diarrhea due to her leaving the cat food out. She claimed that she was not feeling well after her 3pm drop in and felt so bad at that point that should could not make it. After I asked her why she did not let me know sooner and pleaded with her, she agreed to do the drop in any way. My issue was that she had known since earlier that day that she felt ill but did not communicate that to me until the last minute. This left my pups in a tight spot because they would not be feed or taken out to the bathroom. Also, since it was Christmas Day, there was a very slim chance that I would be able find someone else at the last minute. The next day, she claimed to be feeling much better and completed the last day of drop in’s. While I am extremely appreciative that she came out despite her stating she felt ill, I am extremely disappointed she tried to back out with such little notice on Christmas, which caused me a lot of stress. It was not professional to wait 40 mins before the booking to cancel. Also, it was negligent to leave out cat food, which caused my pup to have diarrhea and vomiting. Lastly, I left cleaning supplies and paper towels on the table in case my puppy had an accident. However, when I got home there was poop and vomit stains all over my floor. She told me that my pup was having pretty bad diarrhea, which he could not hold. I understood that because he ate the cat food that was left out. However, she did not clean it up. This was a truly disappointing experience.

Kiara really does love people’s pets. 🐱🐶She always treats them like royalty doing her best to make them feel comfortable and safe. It’s cool how she treats each one as her own. She really appreciates every opportunity to care for these furry friends. I remember her first booking, she went through the roof! Even to this day she never stops talking about how awesome it is and how cute peoples pets are. Kiara goes above and beyond to make them and the parents happy, booking with her just gets better and better.
