Pet care experience
I love spending time with animals. I have always looked after the dogs of family and friends, and I started doing Rover in 2021. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including chihuahuas and Saint Bernard’s. I have house sat both young, high energy dogs, and senior dogs who require medications. I am a tidy and conscientious. I will always do my best to ensure that you return to happy pets and a clean home.

Kiara took care of my pup while I was traveling. She was responsive and communicative even when I texted at odd hours and sent me plenty of pictures of a happy puppy face! I will definitely rebook Kiara for another dog/house sitting when I travel next!
Kirara was great with my two doggos Henry and Emma! Henry is a great pyrenees mix and Emma is an over excited border collie mix, and she handled them just fine! They both really seemed to like her, so my family would definitely hit up Kirara again in the future!
Our pets were very happy with Kiara! It was so nice to be able to go out of town and trust that all would be well at home!
Kiara looked after our French Bulldog for a week while we were out of town. She sent regular updates — both text and video — and took wonderful care of our dog. When he had a medical concern, she took him to vet and was a great advocate for his well-being. Kiara stayed at our house while looking after Jake and left the house much cleaner than when she arrived. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!

Please let me know in advance if you have dog cameras in your house. I’d like to have privacy in the bedroom and bathroom if I am staying overnight. I will send you lots of pictures while you are away, and I usually respond quickly over text or the phone.

Please tell me about your dog’s behavioral tendencies, medications, and any other pre-existing health conditions. I have handled leash pulling from some pretty big dogs (including pit bulls and German Shepherds). I’m adept at avoiding other dogs if your dog is aggressive towards them. But, if your dog has bitten a person I won’t be a good fit for their needs.
A typical day
Walks: If your dog is young and energetic I am happy to take them on hikes or to the beach. I’ve also looked after arthritic dogs who just want to go to the end of the block. Socialization: If your dog is friendly with other dogs, we’ll go to the dog park! Your dog’s safety is my top priority, so I always check with nearby dog owners before I let other dogs approach. Training: tell me about any commands you’d like me to reinforce and I will treat as often as you like. Fetch: I will play fetch with your dog at the park if they have good recall. Otherwise we can play in a fenced in backyard. Games: tug of war, hide and seek, zoomies, soccer… I will support all your dog’s hobbies :)

I take classes remotely, so my schedule is very flexible. Most of my day can be spent with your animals. Your dog’s routine is my priority.
