Pet care experience
I currently live in the Happy Valley area but I’m more than willing to travel within reason. I’ve been the go-to sitter for family and friends for years. Animals bring me immense joy (I don’t even eat them!) and due to apartment living, I'm unable to have a dog of my own so I would be so happy to offer my love and care to the dogs that have it all but need a little extra. I've been around dogs and have been volunteering with animals my whole life. Every other week, my daughter is home with me, so if there is any issue with children we would need to discuss it depending on the week. She’s very patient and gentle with animals, though. I am also happy to exceed the 30 min time frame. Some fur babes just need a little extra! In addition to having a playful and positive attitude, willing to get down and dirty for puppy play time, I'm discovering my love for walking/running so this would be a wonderful way to keep this new passion satisfied. Win win for us all! I have experience giving oral medication to dogs and cats, administering flea medication, and giving insulin injections to cats as needed.

Kianna has been dog sitting my baby Kai for the last 7 years. She pays close attention to his needs. He's got some ear issues, and also has food allergies but She is incredibly attentive and he's always the happiest doggo when I use her services. If you like photo updates she's great at keeping her client's informed!
All I can say is wow. What a great person! Such a bubbly attitude. Willing to go above and beyond for your pets needs. Was able to provide my dog the attention she needs while im away from the house. Always love having her around.

I do not have breed preferences, all dogs are wonderful. I am not fearful of any breed or size. I would like to know if the dog is aggressive, what his diet is like (when applicable), how he is around other dogs/people/cats, level of potty training, if he is on or off leash and if there are any medical issues to watch for or tend to. I would not have an issue administering medication or cleaning wounds, etc, if necessary.
A typical day
We will go on walks and/or runs depending on the dogs capabilities and stamina levels. We can play frisbee, tug o war, fetch, practice tricks, play hide and seek, you name it! Always while honoring what is best for the dog and the rules for the household. If well trained and behaved with other dogs, we can load up and head to a dog park! Plus all of the pets and snuggles!
