As a member of a dog loving family, I've cared for canines my whole life. As a teen I began dog sitting for friends, family and neighborhood employers. I have had a very unique range of doggy customers from a diabetic dalmatian (blind, nearly deaf, with a history of seizures) who required daily insulin injection to ridgeback puppies as young as 10 weeks. Additionally, I've maintained two very long term relationships where I've cared for two labs, a dachshund and schnauzer. I really appreciate the opportunity to get to know these animals as individuals and provide them with care when their families are away. Finally, I have two dogs of my own: Ajax and Shadow who are 17 and 15 respectively. They are very chipper and as young as ever, but at their age do require extra care so I am also quite familiar with giving oral medication (and even IV drips!)
