Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs, in my household and for family friends. About ten years ago I started watching dogs and cats in high school for people who used the same vets office as I did. I have done overnight stays, walks, drop ins, and taken them to veterinary appointments. I have three dogs at home and have taken all three of them through puppy, intermediate and advanced training. They are now in their senior years so I spend a large majority of my time taking them for short walks in the cooler mornings and making sure they have the best senior years possible. :)

Kiana has grown up around dogs and has learned to love and care for them over the years. We have owned dogs for her entire life. Kiana has taken care of my dogs on many occasions. She is very careful to keep them on their schedule and monitor food, water, and medications. We treat our dogs like family and Kiana would treat your dogs the same way!
Kiana is quiet possibly the best person to care for your pet. She loves my dogs as if they were her own! Whenever I need someone to help me out with my dogs, she’s the one I call!
Kiana has always been very happy to watch Phineas (3-year-old black lab with lots of energy). Phineas & her bonded very well & he loves when she comes over to watch him. She is very trustworthy & caring. Definitely recommend her!
Kiana has been a caregiver for my dog since he was a puppy. She is very loving nurturing and attentive to the dogs needs. I would highly recommend you hire her to watch your pet! They will be in great hands!

Depending on the clients home, I am fine with crating them to be safe and make sure they are not getting into things in between drop ins. I have extensive leash training for dogs so walking will not be an issue. If there is a fenced yard I am happy to play games with them and run around.

It is important to me to know the dogs temperament about other dogs and animals ahead of time. If they are very reactive on the leash, if they do not like to be patted/rubbed in certain places, if they like snuggles or prefer independent play or rest time.
A typical day
I love walking. I am happy to walk dogs for miles and miles. Aside from walking, I will play tug, fetch, work on agility or obedience training that their owners are working on. I don't have any particular preference, but whatever works for owners and their pets I am up for!

Availability
I am currently unemployed, so pet care is the majority of my daily and weekly routine. Outside play and walking are how I spend my mornings, and when it starts to heat up I focus on preparing treats and that stimulate the pets minds and keep them entertained without over heating.
