For years, my greatest joys have been my various animals. From cats to dogs to fish to turtles and mice, I’ve always felt so strongly about caring for little (or big) animals. Growing up, I had 4 dogs, 5 cats, a mouse, a turtle, and about 5 different fish tanks that ranged from 75-200 gallons, so I’m certainly no stranger to a wide variety. A couple of years ago, my elderly dog passed away. We had him since he was a puppy, and watching him go through life and growing alongside him was the greatest gift I could have asked for. Since then, senior dogs (and cats) have been a huge point of interest for me. My end goal in life is to be in a position where I can care for elderly dogs and cats who very few people love as they should, because all animals deserve love throughout their ENTIRE lives. I’m a softy for those grey hairs around their mouths and eyes! I’m a full-time student who is working a full-time job as a Patient care assistant, and I’ve decided to add a little more fun to my life by reaching out to dog and cat owners who need some helping hands with their furry friends! I’m a very active person who engages on nightly, lengthy walks, and I would love to include a dog or two along the way! Currently, my fiancé and I live in an apartment with our cats Cookie and Kala. For now, I’m open to visiting all kinds of animals whether they just need a litter box scooped, a good belly rub, or a forty five minute walk to tucker them out. Animals are SO much more than pets. They enrich our lives and give so much love and happiness, it’s my goal to return some of that generosity to them!
