Reliable love for your furry family

Pet care experience

**UPDATE March 2024: After a cross-country move, we are so excited to be back and open to new clients in the LA area! Currently only booking house sits through June.** Self-employed remote working artists and animal lovers, my husband Adriano and I have been caring for fur families for years (7yrs on Rover with 100+ 5 star reviews!). As a dog-lover/cat-lover duo, we have a special bond with all the pets we sit. While I might be giving your pupper the run around or a day of snuggles on the couch, Adriano may be bird watching, wrestling, or cordially ignoring your floof! Whether your fur baby prefers walks on the beach, hikes in Griffith Park, or central AC, we are all in. Sits with us include a vet in the family who is always happy to answer questions (whether it be tummy troubles or possible emergencies)! *"favorite photos ever" of your furry family sent straight to you! **NO PUPPY FEES!! Why would we charge more for all that puppy love?? Short and Extended Daycare additional also available for puppy socialization if a neighbor or friend would like to join your house sit (see FAQs)! About Kiah: I have been caring for animals since my early years when I started volunteering at our local animal shelter as a way to get my daily dose of the dog I didn't have. When my furry little brother finally did come into my life (a schnoodle named Bilbo, who passed in 2023 at the golden age of 16), I knew I was hooked! About Adriano: A cat lover to the core, if I'm not sitting I'm stopping by the Cat Cafe to say hello to the local rescues while wearing my favorite cat shirt. Shy or bold, I have a deep connection to making cats feel at ease. Our policy is to care for your fur family exactly how you do! Whether that's a crate at night and no paws on the furniture or a pile of pillows on the couch and only potty pads indoors - every pet and family is unique and you know what's best for your pet. We will always ask for medical and allergy information as well as how your pet prefers to interact (or not) with other pets and people. I'm able to answer requests for everything from which vet or dog park may be the best fit for your pup to breed and temperament specific safety items like cooling mats and front clip harnesses! All doxies will be picked up with two hands :) FAQs and Additional Info - $20 off for new Rover users! I will ask you at our Meet and Greet, but if I don't just ask me! - To message me directly with questions about my services, just send a temporary booking request. I'd love to help and Meet and Greets do not require you commit to working with me - I will also be 100% honest about if I feel I'm the right fit for you and your pet. - Fluent in English and Portuguese, we are also happy to communicate with you (and your fur family) in Spanish and ASL. - Yes, dogs under 1yr are welcome, we ask that you let us know their house training progress so we can prepare appropriately. - Any cross over time between pups or requested Daycare buddies will be organized in advance to make sure pups are a good fit together. This is only done with full consent of both parents and is my #1 request as it's a great way to schedule socialization time in a safe and limited way! - I accept a maximum of 3 pups in my care at a time across Walks, Daycare, and Boarding (i.e. 1 Boarder + 2 Daycare = 3 pups). You will never see me with 10 dogs around my waist! Priority is given to the first booking. - High Need Senior and Sick Care is available but may involve a higher cost depending on your pet's specific needs for round the clock care. Please contact me to discuss specifics, preparation, and my availability in advance. - Any Daycare booking (>1hr) that extends past 7pm is booked as a Boarding/House Sit (i.e. there is no 9pm-5am "Daycare"). Walks and Drop-in bookings (1hr or less) end at 10pm (i.e. last booking at 9/9:30pm). - For safety reasons, I require Meet and Greets before all new client bookings unless referred by a regular client and don't offer non-overnight services from 10pm-6am except sometimes in emergency or rare cases such as hospitalization or a death in the family. - I use the 3 Day Cancelation Policy for most of my services. I often override this policy, especially for health of you or your pet, but reserve the right to keep my policy as stated. This fee includes time spent scheduling as well as No's given to other pets in need of care in order to commit to your fur family and does not solely represent time spent with your pet. The busier the time, the less likely a refund is if you change your plans as a curtesy to those other parents and me. - 3 Days applies to me too! If my plans change, you will always receive a 100% refund for time not spent with your pet and often a discount for a future booking! *Below are my general Service Schedules Guidelines that I default to* Walks/Drop-ins: Several slots open daily and usually booked in "shifts" - morning, midday, evening - to afford the most flexibility. I guarantee to be to your pet 30mins before or after your ideal time and will always come at your ideal time when able. Both can be booked as 30 or 60 minutes. Daycare: Standard 8hr slots open from 8am-4pm to 11am-7pm 2-3 days a week (Currently M/W/Th). Short (>1hr-4hr) and Extended (>8hr-10hr) Daycare also available any day depending on existing bookings but only from 8am-7pm. Any Daycare >4hr-8hrs is a Standard Daycare booking. Any Daycare that includes hours after 7pm or is >10hrs is booked as a Boarding/House Sit (i.e. there is no 9pm-5am or 7am-7pm "Daycare"). Boarding/House Sits: Your pet's schedule is priority! I will usually leave your pet for a few hours midday to complete my regular weekday walks but if your pup loves friends they are welcome to join on all friendly Walks/Services. Boarding and House Sits are the best way to get the MOST uninterrupted care for your fur baby with activities and buddies booked in :)

Responsive, communicative, kind, organized and empathetic to first time parents leaving their puppy. Great experience for the puppy and the puppy parents.

Kiah was an absolute legend. We left our rescue pup with her for the first time since adopting, and she was incredibly attentive, patient and communicative. We felt so wonderful and safe leaving Willow with Kiah and anyone would be lucky to have her caring for their dog :) Thank you so much Kiah!

Amazing pet sitter to our cats and dog! Received pics and videos everyday. They are going to be disappointed when they see us walking through the door instead of her. We also might be delayed in flying back due to the hurricane so she also helped us last min in coordinating care for our dog!

Creating the space for pups to feel the most at ease is the goal! Our house rules are your house rules in order to stay consistent with your fur baby. Even on daycare days with multiple pups, we will keep eating schedules and hand signals for training individualized.

Information Kiah & Adriano F. would like to know about your pet

We'd love to know your pet's favorite toys and activities and the special quirks that make them unique! We will always ask for medical and allergy information as well as how your pet prefers to interact (or not) with other pets and people. No breed preferences, but I do have a special place in my heart for schnauzers, schnoodles, klee kais and other pups that like to sing and talk. If you are working on quieting your pup, definitely let me know or you will get singing videos! Adriano has a special love for black cats, has orange cat energy himself, and in true cat lover fashion views all breeds as CAT. We're big on respecting pet boundaries, so let us know.

A typical day

I have been through the American Kennel Club Good Citizen training program and one of my favorite games to play with pups with treat for trick - I love teaching fun new things! Adriano is also experienced in training cats and working with "adventure cats." We've been known to take pets on picnics and special outings like early viewing of Parades, play fetch in two directions with two pups at once so everyone is a winner, and read books out loud on the couch (fun voices included).
