Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm, so I’ve been around all sorts of animals my entire life! My official job as a kid was taming all of the wild barn kittens and cats, so I’m great with cats that may be a little more sassy than most. I was also the designated dog trainer growing up and taught 4 of my dogs (both large and small) so many tricks! I have a lot of experience providing medication, end of life care, and even care for animals that may be paralyzed/incontinent.

Kia took amazing care of our dog Macchi! He bonded with her immediately, and she was curious and conscientious about his unique needs & routine. We came home to a calm and happy pup! She was also very flexible and easy to communicate with, and she left our house clean & tidy. We would love to have her back again sometime - thank you, Kia!
We’ve never left the dogs for more than 2 days with a sitter from Rover. I was nervous because our dogs are sometimes a lot to handle, especially in an apartment. The minute we met Kia, I felt relieved. She was well versed and asked good questions, sent updates, and made me feel like the dogs behavior was tolerable. If she’d accept them, we will definitely feel comfortable leaving our dogs in Kia’s care again in the future. Couldn’t be happier!
Kia was AMAZING and literally a Godsend, especially being so last second.. This was my first time using this kinda service, so I was suuppeerr anxious and nervous about it, but it went amazingly!! Kia was great at communicating and adjusting to the help I needed with Kaiya, let alone how she treated her! I feel like we made a new friend as well and I think Kaiya misses her already ☺️.. We're looking forward to the next time Kia can help us out!!!
Kia did such a great job watching our cat! She was very communicative and sent a lot of pictures. I could tell our cat was very well cared for and comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend her.

Boarding: I live in a two bedroom apartment that has room for your loved ones to play! If you have a curious cat that likes to play escape artist rest assured, I’m on the second floor and your cat would have to make it through two doors before getting outside - but I’m always very careful and never had a cat make it out of my apartment door. Most cats like to lounge on one of my two large sofas. I have a shelf for cats to be entertained by the birds and squirrels outside my windows. I have plants, but I’m sure to remove plants that aren’t pet safe prior to any visits! Your home: I know pets are often more comfortable in their own environments, and I want you to feel comfortable allowing me in your home as well! I am very respectful of your environment and if your pet makes any accidents I’m sure to clean them up promptly! I love taking long walks or going on runs, so if your dog needs exercise you can count me in.

A typical day
I love pet cuddles, but I love to play with dogs and cats just as much! I usually am home 24/7 so can take your loved ones on a walk around my neighborhood or in the large park by me!

I’m currently a medical student taking classes from home and I’m looking for a study companion! I’m essentially home 24/7, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the affection they need, as well as any special medical care such as medication.
