Active, reliable young professional with 18+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds & sizes, and across temperament and energy-level spectrums. Having been a proud dog owner (passed in 2017), I do not currently live with any pets at home. Our pets play a key role in our ability to live happy lives — which is why I take sincere joy in devoting my time to owners who could use a helping hand (or pair of walking legs). Despite the obvious job perks — aka “hanging out with dogs for money” — I take my responsibilities as a pet caregiver quite seriously. Kia was amazing with my dog — he was very communicative with me since the beginning asking me on his quirks, walking habits, places to avoid if any. He also kept updated during the walk which I highly appreciated! Highly recommend!
Kia was amazing! Our pup Sancho had some special needs (leg brace, medication 3 times daily) for an old injury that was acting up, and we were nervous to leave him. Kia made us feel instantly at ease. He took detailed notes, asked a lot of great questions, and sent us lots of updates and pics during the stay. Our dog clearly LOVED staying with him - he was happy and relaxed in all the pics, and super chill when we came to get him. And our pup even came back better behaved than we left him! We will definitely book with Kia again!

We are so lucky to have snagged Kia for a last minute booking! He is attentive, kind, and very well educated when it comes to dogs. I was nervous to leave Phil, but Kia did everything he could to put me and Phil at ease. He had some treats and toys around for Phil, and furry beds already set up. He kept me up to date on their walks, and bathroom breaks with the cutest pictures! Kia knows a lot about dog behavior and training and was patient with all of Phil's little quirks. The two of them wound up snuggling through the night! Kia is the sweetest sitter and I can't recommend him enough.

I also have trusted & experienced sitters to call on in case I need to run out. I am a big proponent of Meet & Greets - though optional - since they’re a great way to know me and also ensure total compatibility! (I’ve yet to meet a dog I didn’t love, we’ll just ensure your pup’s alright with me, too.) If you get know me, you’ll quickly find that I’m truly passionate about dogs and providing the highest quality of care possible (1-1). During bookings, you can expect me to be highly communicative, adaptable, and thoughtful in meeting your needs and your pet’s. A typical day
Walks or runs to local parks (dog-friendly) in the Marina, Pacific Heights, Cow Hollow, Presidio — your park recommendations are 100% welcome! Following up, I’ll provide all the affection & attention your pup needs. He/she will have long hallways to chase their favorite toys, a fenced backyard to get some sun, and lots of cozy blankets and comfy spots to pick from when it’s time for a snooze!

Availability
I work remotely full-time and regularly block time for daily exercise (early morning, noon, or evening). I can be flexible for walks & drop-ins based on your needs — if you’re interested in recurring bookings, let’s chat more. For boarding, daycare & house sitting visits, you can expect me to be fully available during 100% of the stay. Walks and runs are my favorite part of my day! I’m available bright and early (7am/8am), around lunchtime (12pm), and once again in the early evening (2pm/3pm). For boarding requests, please inquire about specific dates, and also refer to my calendar — I do my best to keep it updated 4-6 weeks in advance.
