Pet care experience
Happiness is a dog's love! I can't wait to shower my love on your furbaby. I have a lot of experience with pet care - I formerly managed a dog grooming business over ten years ago and I miss caring for all the different dogs. I got a lot of satisfaction when I was able to, over time, get a very nervous and anxious dog to relax and trust me and become friendly and playful, so I am patient and willing to work with difficult dogs, depending on their needs and issues. I have regularly dog-sat for friends over the years and always loved it. During the school year, I substitute teach, primarily on the Northeast/Medical Mile side of Grand Rapids, so I am also available in that area. I also love kitties and have a good success rate with them as well! I'm open to other pets too. Let's meet up!

I'd like to know how your dog handles people arriving at your home. It's important to know their routines and your house rules. I'd like to know if there is any body sensitivity or anxieties they have (ie, some dogs are very sensitive about their feet being touched). I'll need to know if she/he is uneasy around other dogs in case we approach other dogs while on a walk as well as the level of training and habits with the leash. If there are special treats or food allergies/preferences. If your dog has a favorite toy or game to play. What fears they may have (thunder, fireworks, etc).
A typical day
I will take your baby for walks in his/her neighborhood and if your home has a fenced in yard, I will play fetch, frisbee, or whatever he/she loves!
