fun loving and ready to work for u

Pet care experience

A little about me I love all animals ! and I love exercise , I love nature , reading books and hard work I’m a simple person. But on how I am with your fur baby is key here so here’s what I can do . I will provide the upmost best service possible! if you have any instructions I will follow them to a T . I will keep you updated on your fur baby upon your request . I’m always available and ready and willing hoping to work with your fur baby. I’ve taken care of pets all my life practically I’ve worked for two kennels and I absolutely loved it! animals are a treasure. I’ve even help make a whelping room., I will go on walks ,pick up theirs number twos ,feed them special food , you name it ! I can do for you , all you gotta do is ask ! And I’m willing and able . I can accommodate any special preference that you or your fur baby requires. looking forwards to hearing from y’all I hope that I was descriptive enough any questions feel free to ask me anything I’m all ears . Below I will explain situations on how I would handle certain things . ESCAPE PREVENTION: While on a walk? I will always keep a close eye on your fur baby always with a leash and collar or a harness. I will always maintain a good grip in order to avoid any incidents Bolting through doors? If your fur baby is going to the back yard for example and it’s gated I will supervise them ,play with them .but in the case that they get out before it’s highly unlikely because I will always make sure they have their leash ,collar , or harness is on. Unless instructed otherwise Playing in a fenced yard or dog park? In a fenced yard I will call your fur baby over and put their leash/harness on . But in the case that they are the only dog in the fenced yard no way of them getting out ,.I would let them roam then put their leash on and then proceed to what is next (put back inside ,fed ,walked etc.) I will only go to gated dog parks to take your fur baby for fun ,walks , some catch ,belly rubs . In gated parks their less likely to wander off or not being able to enjoy themselves at the end of the day I want your fur baby or fur babies to be happy ,safe ,secure and I will always keep you updated. INTRODUCTIONS: What are two situations in which you might need to introduce new dogs to each other? 1.) walking multiple dogs at the same time . 2.) dogs are spending the night and I'm introducing them to my dog . How will you go about introducing them? make the introduction one on one .stay calm ,keep the dogs outside, the idea is to acclimate them to each other's presence without causing tension.keep them on a harness so in case of anything i can pull them away .keep leashes loose to let them greet in arc, keep treats handy. Where will the introductions occur? introduces them (dogs) in neutral territory such as such as neighbor's yard,a training center, tennis court ,park. What warning signs will you watch for? dogs speak with body language so i'd look out for stiff bodies, raised hackles, staring . How will you react if they are showing signs of stress during an introduction? separate them and wait until their body language is relaxed and calm before trying again. keep calm . FEEDING: Even the best behaved dogs can be food aggressive. With that in mind, how will you go about feeding multiple dogs at once? If you have one or more dogs who get emotionally aroused at mealtime usher these dogs out of sight, sound and smell before preparing the meal to tone down the stress level.you have two calm dogs, space out the bowls in the kitchen. If you notice that your dog/dogs stiffens his/her body or hunches over his/hers food bowl, he/she is conveying a need to protect his/her chow prepare the food in different rooms and vary where you serve his meal in your home to reduce their territorial tendencies,Allow your dogs five to 10 minutes to finish eating, and then pick up the bowls. store them out of sight rather than leave empty bowls on the floor, especially if you have a dog who tends to resource guard.Strive to stick to a feeding schedule so that your dogs will feel more assured that they will not go hungry.Making your dog do certain behaviors before getting their food could backfire and make their resource-guarding tendencies worse because you are making the food more valuable to them. If you have a dog who gobbles down his food and another dog who prefers to nibble, place them in rooms inaccessible to each other at mealtime. For the dog who eats fast, consider playing with him in your backyard after he eats for five minutes or so to distract his attention. This will also give your dog a little more time to eat calmly and safely and without the presence of the other dog hovering over him. ANXIETY: During a stay, your Rover dog begins displaying some anxiety in the form of accidents and destructive behavior. How do you help calm the dog and avoid these issues? stay calm,go for a walk around the block ,play soothing music very low, have a routine such as walk ,play time, feeding, and more .give them task such as getting peanut butter out of a kong .stay active.be compassionate and understanding , How do you communicate this information to the owner? Via rover app ,text, phone call, email.Focusing on the problem, not the person .Be friendly and approachable.Looking for creative solutions.Avoiding ultimatums and insults.Keeping an eye on the bigger picture.Keeping client satisfaction top of mind.
