Hello Furry Friends & Caregivers!
Pet care experience
Since I can remember, I’ve always had a furry friend (dog/cat) a part of my home dynamic from childhood, up until I left for college. Comfort, relaxation, and feeling valued is really important to me. I haven’t seen my family dog Dutchess (the precious goddess in the photos) in over a year. She’s 8 now, a Boxer and I miss her tremendously. I love being active with furry animals, they are amazing company! Back home, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and monitoring/playing with my family dog whenever my family was out of town. Boxers’ temperament is very passionate, possessive, and require a LOT of attention, which I tend to give a lot of. I’m known around friends and family as the “nurturer”. Taking care of someone’s pet is a precious opportunity and I take that seriously.

Khadejia did a fantastic job watching my dog while I was away! She communicated and provided pictures just how I asked and made sure that my dog was comfortable. I came home to a happy guy and a clean home!

Absolutely amazing experience with Khadejia! So kind, thoughtful, and very attentive to our sweet fur baby who has some triggers and needs lots of attention! She was also super patient and flexible when we had some travel delays. We highly recommend her and will definitely be asking her for help again in the future!

I’m a structured person. I like my home tidy so friends and family feel welcomed. I live in a studio apartment, ideally if I were to house sit, I could only accept small furry friends(sorry!!) I’ve always wanted my own pet but financially it isn’t in the picture right now. This is the next best thing! Making sure that the environment is SAFE, and accessible for them is super important to me. I have a big open space (I use for yoga) in my studio apartment so they could play there as much as they’d like. Plus I am a 3 minute walk to loring park and I go there every day(except when the sidewalks are too icy lol), it’d be a great place for them to play and go for a walk. I care about the supportive roles in my life, whether it’s being a sister, a friend, or a pet caregiver. Interacting with your pet(s) is important to me, so giving them the attention they need and deserve is at the top of my list, PLUS who doesn’t want to hang with a cute animal lol!

I would love to know if your dog has specific needs when it comes to separation anxiety or any specific behaviors when being in new environments. How can I best take care of them and make them feel safe during those moments.
A typical day
I love taking my client’s dogs for walks around loring park in the daytime. It’s great exercise for me and the pup! ? Plus it’s so cute seeing them tired out from playtime, means I’ve done my job and they’ve gotten the best possible care ☺️

I’m currently focusing on creative endeavors and have a load of free time since my schedule is my own! I’m working from home! And looking for this to be a supportive income of mine. I’d love to find routine pet owners to work with and so as of now I’m very open to flexible schedules 7 days a week 🤗
