Charlie McFluffers was my first dog. He was an English Shepherd that an old girlfriend and I got in my early twenties. I never had a dog growing up, but I immediately took to him--playing with him and taking him up to the dog park at Mt. Tabor every day that I could. After being dogless for many years, I met my future wife and her dog, Piper. Piper was a shelter-dog learning to come out of his shell and trust humans again. He and I become best friends. After my wife and I bought our 4-bedroom home together in Portland, I was eager to get another dog, a sweet mutt from the Humane Society that we named Freki. A few years later, we added a little Dachsund-Chihuahua named Thor. I walk our literal pack of dogs every day. I've trained them all and have socialized them well. They are a huge part of my life and the older I get, the more I realize that working with dogs is what makes me happy. Since then, we have relocated to Ventura, CA. We own our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a fenced yard and plenty of dog beds and bowls for your pups. At the beginning of Covid, we gained a fourth dog named Kreacher. He was dumped and unwanted, so naturally, we kept him. He is my wife's best friend. Two years ago, we lost our Freki to cancer which was devastating. We have been taking care of our dogs for 14 years--walking, cleaning, grooming, teaching, taking them on road trips, going to dog parks all over. I have a wealth of experience and my wife and I look forward to taking care of your dog(s).
