We had booked him for two back-to-back weekends and, while we had a negative experience the first weekend, believed we'd be unable to cancel and book a new sitter for the second weekend (Easter) on such short notice. So we begrudgingly had Kevin watch our dog again. This second weekend we received no photos and no text updates, but after clarifying that our dog should be taken on daily walks, doorbell footage showed that she was in fact walked (unlike the previous weekend when he watched our dog). On our last day away, we received a call from a neighbor that our dog (who was to be left alone inside, preferably crated) was loose running the neighborhood. After retrieving our dog, Kevin said she must have escaped through the bathroom window while he was gone. When we got home, we noticed the back gate was wide open. Kevin was absent, the dog was free-roaming the house (we were expecting her to be crated), the bathroom door was open and bathroom window was also still wide open. Our dog may have opened it again, but if so, it is strange that she was still inside the house. We would have ideally liked if that would have been blocked off better after her first escape. Also when Kevin departed, he left the key inside the house and the front door completely unlocked. We would have preferred he lock the door and leave it hidden outside somewhere. To be fair we hadn’t specified it very clearly, but we wish he would have contacted us if he needed clarification.

Kevin came through with only a few days notice! Excellent go to. Gave Casper all the attention he needed and was thoroughly communicative. Will continue to keep Kevin on the list of go to sitters and walkers.
