Pet care experience
I'm sure you have some basic questions for me, I'd like to cover some of them here: Do you have or had pets or dogs of your own? As of October 2023, I have officially become a pet owner (Cat dad!) Why did you join Rover/become a dog sitter? I grew up with strict parents so getting a pet was just never going to happen. I always enjoyed the company of cats and dogs and I figured at some point when I get older I would like to have one of my own. Before I dive headfirst into the pet-owning life, I thought it would be a good idea to test the waters first but becoming a sitter first. What's your schedule like in terms of caring/watching my dog? .

Kevin was fantastic! Flexible, accommodating and responsive. We put our 75 lb pit bull terrier mix in his care for 9 days and we’re very satisfied with the care Kevin provided and the frequency of communication. 10/10 would recommend.
Kevin was great with Emma and Brie. This was our first time leaving them together since they became live in sisters a few months ago, and Kevin was very responsive while we were away. We asked for more pictures to be sent of them and he sent the cutest pictures of our girls. They were cared for
Kevin was a wonderful caretaker for our dog! We are so thankful that we found him on Rover. I highly recommend him for any pet sitting and plan to reach for him immediately the next time we need pet care. Kevin watched our pup for a week over the holidays. He arranged for a meet and great before the stay, which helped to put our minds at ease. And he sent daily pictures and updates throughout the week – which we loved! Our dog is a senior and she ended up needing some medical care while we were gone. Kevin remained calm and handled the situation like a champion. He communicated with us clearly and moved urgently. We would have been lost without his help and his close attention to our dog’s health. It was clear that Kevin made our dog his first priority. We will always be thankful for his care of her.
This is our third time having Kevin house sit with our dog Foxxy. We actually had some issues with our flight getting delayed, so Kevin ended up coming over before we left but was flexible enough to come back at a later time. On our way back, due to our long international flight and delay uncertainties, we didn't properly coordinate our return time and let Kevin know that we were already back home. But Kevin came over to check up on Foxxy after his work anyway just in case! We can always count on Kevin to help out!

Only thing I like to know is if the pet is OK around other people or other pets. I'm a cat owner myself so just need to make sure they would get along.
A typical day
Tug of war and playing catch a the park are my two favorite activities to do with dogs. I also like to stay active, so if its OK with the owner I don't mind taking the dog out for a jog.

Availability
I currently work full-time 40hrs a week as a night shift worker from 11pm-7am, and stay up the following day until about 4pm. Perfect timing for morning and afternoon walks with your pup. I recently purchased a vehicle, so if your pup likes to social we could have a nice afternoon dog park. And in case of an emergency, I have no problem driving to the vet
