Excited to love on yours as my own!

Pet care experience

I have had a some type of pet in our home since I was a kid. I’ve recently cared for our Boston Terrier, Chief, who passed away in 2017. Chief was a senior dog with medical issues, so I have experience in seniors who can’t see well, have special meds/needs, or just need extra love in their “golden years.” I’ve also had experience with rescue/stray dogs who needed homes and someone to love, or extra training work, including a very hyper Jack Russel Terrier, “Mya”, who thought she was the biggest dog on the block with a bark to boot! So I know how to care for the one who has to have attention and exercise without fail. Along with rescue dogs, one of our lovely dogs I found a good home for was a very shy girl who was abused. So I can be delicate as needed with your pet. I’d love to care for your dog as my own, feed them, walk them, play with them, and bring a smile to me and my family as they all miss our little “Chiefy”, as well as provide a caring, fun environment for your fur child.

Kevin is highly energetic and loves to have fun with dogs. Aside from owning several breeds himself in the past, he’s taken care of my parents’ dogs on several occasions. He will gladly accept and care for your dog as his own.

Information Kevin N. would like to know about your pet

I love all breeds, including cats. I’d like to know up front if your pet can be left alone in or out of kennels if I needed to run to the store for a few minutes or step outside to answer mail, etc. Do they go crazy with their bark if someone comes to the door? Do they tend to pee a little excitedly if someone is at the door? Do you allow them on furniture and in bed at night? Do you use certain commands with them? Do you want us to enforce or practice certain acts with them? Are they great with kids? (I have a 10 year old daughter, but she knows how to approach and meet new pets so she does well). All these things are okay; I just want to be prepared and abide by your rules.

A typical day

We will enjoy walks along small ponds near my home, finding dog parks to play at (if allowed by owner), car rides to other dog-allowed parks/areas, playing fetch, tug-of-war with their favorite toys, consistsent snuggles and hugs while relaxing together indoors and outdoors.
