True. I do not smoke, I do not drink alcohol, and I do not cook food - I only eat fresh food. Let's focus on YOUR pets food and drink: I love to travel. I grew up leaving my pets behind in the care of - in the eye of my pets - strangers. I know the guilt and the fear that creeps up while you are having the time of your life. Allow me to help ease that fear. I have a word of mouth house sitting gig with 5-6 clients currently. I paused my Rover.com for a few years while I focused on my schooling and career launch: I work for Jeffco Schools as a Before and After School Program Director. My schedules are split up allowing for 3-4 hour breaks between the sessions I run - perfect, right? I adopted my own pup in July 2020 - He was found on the streets in Houston, TX and was fostered for two months before being transported to Boulder, CO. He happily stays with his grandparents - his favorite humans - when I care for other pets. I certainly don't judge anyone with a different lifestyle than me. Here's what I say to put people at ease: Eat the steak, put whipped cream on it, I don't care. I couldn't careless about what someone else eats or drinks. Just have a clean bed if you want me to sleep in the house.

It was so nice to go away last minute for a stay-cation to the mountains and be able to leave our very large, very needy weimaraner with Kevin. The house was kept clean and our dog was very happy when we returned. We will be using Kevin again!

I tend to treat meal feedings like medication administration at my full time job. I make a checklist: I have the right person - your pet, the right medication - your pets food, the right use - to feed dinner/lunch/breakfast, the right dose - the correct amount, the right way - via a bowl, and at the right time. I log all of this the entire time I care for a pet to ensure nothing is missed. I am only comfortable with administering oral pills/capsules, but I obviously take the same approach with medications. I prefer on-leashed walks, I am not comfortable taking stranger-pets to an off-leash dog park for fear of that dog escaping from me.

Feeding schedules, and amount each time. Will pets run and hide from me because they're scared / nervous around strangers? Not to worry, I've had both happen and at the same time. Keep in mind my vehicle is front-wheel-drive only.
A typical day
I LOVE being in nature, walking, jogging, running, and being in the sunshine everyday is something I love to do especially with some company like an animal. I am a Program Director of a Before and Afterschool Program. I work a split schedule, M-F. I am working from 6-9am, 9am-2pm are free, 2-6pm I am working again. I tend to keep my work west of I-25, north of I-70 and east of Boulder. Broomfield, Westminster, Arvada are my preferred areas. I'm not a big person. I'm 5-foot-7-inches tall, I'm in the 150-160-pound range. If your pet is not cool with men: A family-friend had that fear with their dog - to the owner's shock the dog came right up to me at the meet and greet and showed its tummy to me to rub. They were sold. Perhaps you might be too.
