Dogs are better than people and if you don't agree you're not my kind of people ! I've rescued 2 dogs and fostered 1 ( ended up being my third ) my friends frequently ask me to house sit and care for their animals cats and dogs alike. I am able to bring them to work with me ( at a dog friendly brewery) and they're allowed to be free and treated with nothing but love. Known as the dog whisperer by many nothing brings me greater joy then playing and being around animals. I just want to meet them all. I work full time but at a brewery where I can bring the dog and they'll be comfortable. Multiple coworkers around to socialize and play with and frequent breaks to let them outside. Other dogs around if they're friendly but seclusion is an option for the ones less friendly. I like to hike and go on walks so it's an added bonus to have a furry friend . My weekends are usually empty so plenty of time to give to those in need. There are numerous trails and dog parks near me for the exercise as well as friends who have dogs to make friends with . I view dogs like people and care very deeply for their comfort and well being so proper food / water / walks / sleep are needed as we all need it as well . I am very respectful of boundaries and of people's wishes with their animals since I know what it's like to have someone else caring for your dog. Constant communication is key for relief and peace of mind therefore I do what's in my power to keep that a priority.
