My family has always been dog lovers. Throughout my life I have helped care for dogs. We have owned many shelties, and have even bred some litters a few times. I absolutely love dogs. I play with them every chance I get. My availability does change (part-time firefighter), but I know my schedule on a month by month basis, so we can work something out. I love dogs of all breeds, and do not shy away, as long as I see no signs that the dog views me as a threat. I'm not afraid to get rough (in the good playful way) when playing with the dogs, so they will be sure to get a good workout. I enjoy developing bonds with dogs and I have rarely come across a dog that showed signs of aggression toward me. I have had many owners who were surprised their dogs approached me so easily.
