Through my studies of Criminal Justice I was able to network, and work my way up to become a police K-9 trainer at one the the best kennels in the country. I've cared for, trained, and handled hundreds of workings dogs during my time at the kennel. I've provided care to my black lab of two years among many other dogs of friends and family. These experiences have helped me understand dog behavior. They've also assisted me to cater to their wants and needs. Let's face it, dogs primarily only have 'wants' and 'needs'! This is why I want to offer care to whomever's pet(s) I can. To me, rescuing a pet and/or taking in a pet is about being giving the opportunity to provide that being with the best life you can present them with.
