Pet care experience
I have been working in dogcare for a while, have brought up 2 of my own dogs (a family dog with significant reactivity issues, and my own current dog, Australian Shepherd, Koro) and have recently begun working in dog-training as well as in dogcare. At my place your dog will have access to a lovely, well-fenced, medium-sized garden, for sniffs and playtime, and plenty of dog-beds/blankets/cushions to chill out on indoors. I'll tailor the day's schedule to suit your dog's needs, with long outings if needed, or more chill time at home, depending on the dog.
Reviews
Kesia provided excellent care for our dog. We don’t live locally but need someone to look after our dog Ella, when in the area. Kesia gave time for Ella to get to know her and her own dog prior to the bookings to be sure they would get on. This paid off as Ella had two very good stays. Kesia is very understanding and sent feedback during the stays, which was much appreciated. We will definitely be happy for Ella to stay with Kesia in the future.
We are very happy with Kesia. She is excellent with dogs and Bagel had a great time in her home. We were given regular photos during the day, which is great for seeing what our dog was up to. We cannot walk past her house now as Bagel will stop at her door as she wants to go in!
Wonderful. My dog was super looked after ?
Kesia and Kozo were great with Maisie! I would highly recommend Kesia as a dog sitter and hope to use her services again in the near future.

I also work part-time with a theatre/arts company, so sometimes work from home alongside looking after dogs, but am always able to give your dog time, attention and play, outdoors and at home. I can also sometimes do boarding, but only offer this for dogs I have gotten to know a little, to be sure they are a good fit for getting along with my own dog over longer periods. I'm fully insured through Protectivity for extra reassurance.

Information Kesia G. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know as much as possible about your dog's usual behaviour - how are they with other dogs, with people, with new situations and noises? What do they love, what do they hate, and of course please inform me of any medical issues or special care/diet instructions.
A typical day
I'll play all sorts of games with your dog to get them tired out mentally - games with treats, if allowed, ball-chasing games, search & sniff games, tug - I'll do my best to work out what gets them going. I also love to teach tricks and have my own agility equipment that I'm sometimes able to take out with me. And sometimes just a really good ramble and sniff around is best!

I am currently studying a level-3 diploma in dog behaviour with the British College of Canine Studies. With my own 2 year-old dog, I am working through IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) Partnership Grades, currently on Grade 3, and working with a charity to train her as my assistance dog. I also train regularly with Grade 7 agility competitor Angus MacFarlane, and compete with her in agility. I run my own local agility sessions, too - ask me if interested!
