Pet care experience
Walks: I take great care to accommodate the needs of your dog. If it's for energy burn, we'll walk at least a mile. If it's more for social time, we casually walk, explore and play. I will always ensure they have water (and food if requested) and never leave them alone until they are cooled down. Drop-in: I have experience with dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters (etc), and fish (though I respect all living creatures, I am not comfortable caring for any species outside of those listed). I'll care for them as you request to include food and water, cleaning up pet related messes inside and out, playing, scooping or changing litter boxes and cages, walking (for dogs within the 30 minutes timeframe), or any other task we agree on. Kerry is the best there is -I have used her again and again over the past year and a half. She has helped us tremendously with taking care of our pup and always has the most detailed reports and fluid communication every visit. I know our pup and home is in good hands under her care. This review is long due! Kerry came to walk our dog daily for several weeks and she was the absolute best! Our dog obviously loved her and Kerry always went above and beyond to make sure that our dog was comfortable and happy. We never even had to fill the water bowl because Kerry always had it full to the top for her! One thing that we really appreciated about Kerry was how seriously she took safety. We never had to worry about our dog getting out or being harmed under Kerry’s watch. Kerry is also extremely communicative and always sent pics every day. Having Kerry as a dog walker was a wonderful experience and we would recommend her to everyone. Best dog walker ever!
Kerry goes above and beyond when it comes to caring for my dogs! She treats them just like her own pets! Highly recommend if you need a sitter or a drop in visit!!!

The safety and comfort of your pet is my number one priority. I would not ever put him or her in an uncomfortable situation. Unless absolutely unavoidable, I will not deviate from our agreed upon tasks. Their water bowl will be full before I leave. If your pet is showing signs that they have not yet cooled off from our walk, I will not leave them alone until they do. Though a typical booking is only for 30 or 60 minutes, it's not unusual for me to spend additional time with your pet if necessary or if we just lost track of time having fun! I begin the clock on your Rover card just as I've unlocked your door and stop the clock right after I've locked it. That allows you to know exactly what time I was on your property. Though I may start the clock before our walk begins, rest assured I ignore the time it takes to prepare for our adventure. So if you are expecting us to actually be walking for 30 minutes, I will not cut that short. If your dog is just refusing to walk or seems to be overheating, I may make the decision to bring him or her back inside. If I ever must deviate from what you're expecting, I will absolutely send you a message immediately. The judgement call is to abide by my strict policy to make sure the pet's safety and comfort comes first above all else. You can trust that I will have the upmost respect for you, your property, and your pet.

Information Kerry M. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed restrictions, only behavioral restrictions. Your pet must not show any signs of aggression toward humans or other animals we may encounter. I will not put myself, your pet, or others in an uncomfortable situation. A Meet and Greet is required in most cases. If a Meet and Greet is waived by the owner for any reason and I've attempted but am unable to care for your pet due to behavioral issues, payment is still collected for that single attempted service and any future services may be cancelled/denied.
A typical day
I will comply with the activities of your request (excluding running outside a fenced area). Please provide all items necessary to fulfill (ie: leash, harness, dog waste bags, treats/food, toys, etc). I bring my own waste bags and a leash as backup. Please inform me of all commands that I may have to give (sit, wait, leave it, come, heel, etc) so I can communicate effectively with them. If they are accustomed to a particular walking route, let me know where to go. I prefer little to no traffic routes, but can confidently walk your dog along a busier street if that isn't possible. If the service is a drop-in visit and a walk is not desired, I will do the activities that are expected, including food/water, social stimulation, pet-related cleaning (etc). Please communicate these prior to booking, so we both are confident I can fulfill your expectations.

I have no regular commitments outside of pet care. All my personal needs get scheduled around Rover. I am very loyal to repeat clients and will retain their standard slot so I'm readily available to them, whether they've booked me yet or not. If you are a new client seeking repeat walks or drop-in visits and I can accommodate your desired timeframe regularly, I will do the same for you! If by chance I need to take off any particular day or range of days within your usual slot, I always give prior notice (at least 2 weeks, but usually more). I take great pride in being a responsible sitter that can you can depend on.
