It's hard to express how much I love animals in one paragraph. As a dog-owner for over 10 years (of wonderful golden retrievers), as well as a previous cat owner, taking care of animals is personally one of my greatest joys. Professionally, I've worked in an emergency veterinary hospital, a small animal clinic, and volunteered at local shelters. For full-time work, I am a biologist and typically work seasonally doing field work. Since my most recent best friend (Ranger) has passed away, I don't yet have another dog and love to spend time with friends' pups and other furry friends! I am currently in my off-season of work, so have flexible hours and availability. I'm active and love to hike, walk on interurban trails, and generally get outside, which is always better with a dog(s)! - Kerry
