Pet care experience
I’m a sucker for anyone on four legs and have worked as a professional dog walker, cat wrangler, and pet sitter for fifteen years. I’ve also worked and volunteered in animal rescue, and have fostered several special needs bullies rescued from cruelty cases. I’m very active and love getting outdoors with pups for walks, hikes, and trips to the dog park. I work from home as a freelance writer, so my schedule is very flexible. Here are some additional things I’d like you to know: For dogs: * I use only positive reinforcement—gentle leads, redirection, clickers and owner-approved treats *Accustomed to handling and caring for multiple pups simultaneously * Extensive experience with (and hopelessly smitten by) bullies * Can administer oral meds and sub-q injections to compliant pups For cats: *Adept at reading behavioral cues * Fastidious with litter box hygiene *Experience caring for diabetic kitties, including diet compliance, glucose testing, insulin injections with pen or syringe draws with tolerant patients

It's always nerve-wracking for me to leave my fur babies with someone else but Kerri did a wonderful job! She was up for the challenge of my 4 dog crew, one very old and bossy babe, one young puppy, one scared big guy, and one very busy big but lovely guy! :) She followed the desires I had and showed up at the exact times I was hoping for. I'm so grateful I got to spend Christmas eve worry-free with our family out of town. Will call her again for sure! (thanks Kerri!!)
Kerri was a great friend for Teddy while we were out of town. She was prompt, thorough and sweet as can be for Teddy! We will certainly ask her to help next time we are out of town.
Kerri was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was quick to respond, professional, thorough and knowledgeable! We could tell from the first moment she met Gunnar and Winston that they would be in good hands. She stayed at our home while were away for the weekend and took great care of them. She sent us updates and pics each day, took them on daily walks, gave lots of attention (and for those who know labs, they camt get enough attention) and took great care of our home! She even went so far as to wash the towels and bed linens she used while she was there! We have been using Rover for a few years now and can honestly say that Kerri was by far the best that we have used and will definitely be using her again in the future! 5 starts across the board for a job well done, Kerri! That you so much for taking care of our two boys as if they were your own.
Kerri has taken care of our cats on and off multiple times over the last few years, and she has proven herself to be reliable, conscientious, and caring. She sends regular updates (and playful photos!) of the cats whenever she has taken care of them - this is more important to us than it otherwise might be, because one of our cats is a special-needs kitty, and we worry about him. Kerri went out of her way to look after him, and make sure he was doing well. I would absolutely recommend Kerri as a cat-or-dog watcher and caregiver, she's fantastic!
